Batsmurf:
Sitting in his mushroom manor one dark and stormy night, Bruce Smurf witnessed
a bat crash through his window, totally destroying the fungal walls and
roof of his palatial dwelling and spraying guano all over the place. "SMURF!"
hissed Bruce Smurf, throwing down his smurfpaper and smurfing up and down
on it. "I knew I should have smurfed underground!! Damned vermin! That
smurfs it! I shall smurf this as a sign. From now on, I shall smurf a BAT!"
Drawing on the memories of his parents being smurfed down by a hood in a
dark alley, and the costume his father smurfed to a costume ball once, Bruce
created the persona of Batsmurf; vigilante, mercenary, force of justice,
and all-around unsmurfy character.... He smurfs in the dark, but his foes
always smurf the light of justice!
